So I have some friends in some awesome places, several of which have blogs. I was reading some of my dear friends blogs just the other day and said to myself "Self, I want to write another blog." You see I wrote one when I spent my semester studying abroad in Mexico, which was great, but didn't really want to just write about my life, I wanted there to be a different purpose. So after some brainstorming I thought of a great blog idea...

See this past New Year's I decided that for the entire year I wanted to spend time becoming informed about our world (Thanks K-Sta!!!). The devestations, the things that happen everyday, all these different injustices that make us scared and angry (or in some cases apathetic). Things like AIDS, Hunger, Sex Trafficking, Globalization, the Environment etc. So wha-la a wonderful blog idea!!! Since I am going to be so informed, I can't just keep it to myselft. I need to be able to express my feelings and understandings of these things. I thought it wouldn't be good to hold all this in, that I should be sharing my new found discoveries. So here I am, devoting this entire blog to informing you about what I am becoming informed about.

My only request...if you decide to read this blog, you cannot be apathetic. You need to make a vow, whether to yourself or to me, that if something shocks or moves you that you will do something about it.
